Lambrina Gimian

Lambrina is a lived experience speaker and maternal mental health advocate who shares openly about her journey through postpartum depression, PMDD, and the identity shifts of motherhood. Through This Mum Thing, she creates space for honest conversations about the emotional realities of early parenthood.

With a background in peer support and counselling, Lambrina brings insight into how lived experience can shape more compassionate, trauma-informed care. Her work helps perinatal professionals better understand the internal struggles many mothers face – beyond what’s visible.

She speaks on topics such as matrescence, mental health recovery, and the power of peer-led support in shaping responsive, human-centred systems of care.
