Anne Barbara
South Australia Carer Representative
Anne Barbara has had a varied career in mental health being one of the first Carer Consultants employed in South Australia.
Anne has been a member of Mental Health Australia for ten years and in 2010 was chosen to represent Australian carers at the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership conference in Ireland. Whilst overseas Anne visited mental health services in the UK and completed a three-day exchange in Trieste, Italy which is recognised as being the world leader in mental health care and treatment.
Anne has also facilitated the Well Ways Education Program and the ARAFMI support group and is currently a carer representative on numerous mental health boards and committees including the NDIS.
